Please excuse our weeds!

IMG_2385With all of the great excitement of a new elementary school in Dexter, change and expansion is happening all over DCS grounds.  We are happy to announce that the Sullivan Memorial Garden will be moving to a new location this summer.  The SMG will be relocated next to the Creekside Kitchen Garden.  This will give students a more cohesive experience in all aspects of “Eat local, Learn local”.

So if you see weeds creeping up in the next few weeks where there should be beautiful veggies and pollinator flowers growing, don’t worry!  Construction should begin in July and be completed just in time for a great August planting.
