Exciting news for our cafeterias!

Dexter Food and Nutrition is happy to announce it is the recipient of grant funding from the 10 Cents a Meal Program sponsored by the Michigan Department of Education.  This competitive grant is part of a pilot program that will help fund the purchase of local fruit, vegetables and legumes in DCS cafeterias.  Watch for local apples, peas, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, and stone fruit on the salad bar or as a menu side for the month of September.  For more information on the 10 Cents a Meal Program please visit- http://www.tencentsmichigan.orgimg_1938
