The Creekside School Garden Program has had a lasting relationship with Zingerman’s Roadhouse Chef and farmer at Cornman Farms, Alex Young, for several years. Alex will be back at Creekside again this year to offer a beautiful soup supper, and celebrate the many successes of the garden program this year. Creekside’s garden program this year has expanded the number of students impacted by creating an after school garden club in addition to the Kitchen/Garden FLEX class, which was established last year. Proceeds from the event will benefit the garden program at Creekside. See the announcement and flyer below for more information on how to join us!

Creekside Intermediate School
Come join us for this fundraiser dinner to support the Kitchen/Garden Program at Creekside. You will have an opportunity to sample several different soups and fresh baked breads and muffins.
Apple Cider will be provided from Lesser Farms.
Soups will be prepared by Alex Young; Head Chef and Managing Partner of Zingerman’s Roadhouse and Cornman Farms, along with students at Creekside Intermediate School.
Please be green and bring your own soup bowl, small plate, utensils, cup and napkin.

Our After School Garden Club has an opportunity to help with this year’s Fall Soup Supper fundraiser on October 22nd. We have split the shifts into THREE shifts. The first shift will be right after school until 4:30, the second shift will be from 5:30-7:00, the final shift will be from 7:00-8:30. Please check one shift that your student wishes to volunteer. We could really use some help from adults during the last shift. Please indicate if you are able to help during that time as well.
- I am able to help with the set up right after school from 3:00-4:30.
- I am able to help during the 5:30-7:00 shift. I plan on having my soup before my shift starts. (paid reservation only)
- I am able to help with the 5:30-7:00 shift but I will be eating soup with my family at 6:00.
- I am able to help with the 5:30-7:00 shift. I WILL NOT BE EATING.
- I will be able to help with the last shift from 7:00-8:30
- My parent is able to help with the last shift from 7:00-8:30.
